Dear Members,
Isn't it great! Spring is finally here! There is excitement in the air as you look forward to seeing the buds on the trees, the flowers start to bloom, the first robins . . . and Michigan Modernism!
Yes, it's that time again. I don't know about you, but we on the Modernism Steering Committee are so excited, we can hardly wait! That's because we know that it's going to be another great show beginning with a fabulous preview party that you can't afford to miss! There's a reason that those people who travel to all the shows say that Michigan Modernism is one of the best 20th century shows in the country.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the DAADS booth! Wait until you see this year's exhibit! It's going to be spectacular!!
Just turn to page 28 for a complete preview on everything this year's Michigan Modernism Exposition has to offer!
And don't forget to check out the rest of this issue. First, take a moment to experience "Living Modern," the cover article featuring the magnificent modern home and collection of Rebecca and Alan Ross.
Then, Rebecca Binno will tell you what you missed if you weren't with us in Cincinnati in February for the 20th Century Cincinnati weekend. (We had such a great time — we hope to do it again next year!)
Caroline Ashleigh has written a wonderful article on fashions of the deco era that ties in with this year's Modernism show. You'll really enjoy it!
Keep reading . . . the Preservation articles, book reviews . . . you won't want to put this issue down!
