The Satin Dolls, that talented singing trio specializing in nostalgic music from the 1930s to the 1960s will be the featured entertainment at the Michigan Modernism Gala Preview Party on Friday, April 27th. The group will have two scheduled performances that evening.
Always a sensation wherever they appear, the Satin Dolls originated over a decade ago and have always been engaging singers and entertainers that perform regularly in the Detroit area. The "Dolls" dress in authentic vintage attire and strive to duplicate the original arrangements and harmonies of days gone by.
The Satin Dolls have a highly popular following in the Metro Detroit area, appearing at Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, the Woodward Dream Cruise, Borders Book Stores, "In The Park" Concerts in Birmingham, the Royal Oak "Fash Bash" and many other venues in and around Michigan. The Satin Dolls recently were the featured singing group with Paul King and his Rhythmaires. The Detroit Area Art Deco Society welcomes The Satin Dolls back to our Michigan Modernism festivities.
